Research Interests: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Chemical Kinetic, Detailed/Reduced Mechanism Generation, Renewable energy

Shrabanti Roy received her Ph.D. from Mississippi State University in 2021. During her PhD, she worked under Dr. Omid Askari in the Plasma and Combustion Research Lab (PCRL). Her research was on chemical kinetics analysis and mechanism generation of oxygenated biofuel under engine relevant condition. She completed her M.S. from Prairie View A & M University, Texas and B.S. from Military Institute of Science & Technology, Dhaka. Currently she is working as an assistant professor in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Military Institute.

She also enjoys reading books, traveling and sports.
